“May the wicked become good
May the good obtain peace
May the peaceful be freed from bonds
May the freed set others free”

his amazing prayer is an excerpt of Swadhyaya Sudha, a collection of prayers from ancient Hindu scripture.

The illumination in this piece is mostly Celtic, with intertwined peacocks in the border and fantastical creatures grappling in the capital “M”. The angels, with their multi-hued silver and gold wings, are pre-Raphaelite in design.
